The raised edges actually do their job—I dropped it face-down on pavement and the screen came out flawless. The glossy back picks up fingerprints like crazy, but the grip makes it worth carrying every day.
The felt interior is such a nice touch—it keeps my phone from sliding around on the table. I’ve already dropped it twice on pavement and the raised edges did their job perfectly, no scratches on the camera lens.
